A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, David joined the bank in January 2003.
On qualification David moved from private practice into industry. His career has covered several industries and has included a period as a consultant with KPMG followed by senior management positions in Midland Bank, TSB Group and the BBC. He has worked in both the UK and overseas.
David has management responsibility for the bank's Treasury, Trustee and Tax Advisory Departments as well as Human Resources. In addition, as Company Secretary, he is also accountable to the Board for all Legal and Regulatory matters.
